Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Assist servers in managing table settings and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Support catering events as needed, assisting with setup, service, and cleanup.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines within the food service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant required
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food service practices within the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and carry trays of food or beverages as needed.

Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
