What You'll Do:

As an event manager, you’ll play a key role in creating the experience of excellence for any event! You will be the keyholder to unlocking an unforgettable experience while creatively planning each and every detail to ensure an experience of excellence. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Generate event business through current contacts and businesses

· Build relationships with clients and maintain professional rolodex

· Unwavering commitment to excellence in all interactions

· Plan, organize and execute on all special events

· Be an ambassador for BOA Steakhouse and our brand

· Assist with event marketing and promotion strategies, including creating invitations and managing collateral

· Ability to conceptualize unique event concepts and design elements to align with client vision

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, managing event staff, and addressing any issues that may arise 

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

· 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment

· Proven success in event planning or coordination

· Experience in building and maintaining positive business relationships

· Experience working with the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino a plus

· Full knowledge of hospitality operations both in the FOH and HOH

· Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure

· Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, time management and attention to detail along with excellent communication skills, both with guests and teammates

· A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic

· Flexible availability to workdays, nights, weekends – we’re looking for team players who can adapt to the needs of the business

· Ability to work standing for long periods

· Must be 18 years or older

Preferred skills and qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in event management or related discipline

· Experience in marketing or public relations

· Proficient with event management software
