Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Provide information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell additional items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining room throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for managing reservations is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is advantageous.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
