Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will enhance the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
