Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your ability to engage with customers, manage orders efficiently, and maintain a positive atmosphere will contribute significantly to our establishment's reputation.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions, enhancing their dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments efficiently, including cash handling and managing tabs for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably in a fine dining or nightclub setting.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic math skills for order processing.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol in compliance with local regulations.
