Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, ensuring each dish meets our quality standards.
- Utilize knife skills to slice fish and vegetables with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen while adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and special catering requests.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Create visually appealing presentations for sushi dishes to enhance the dining experience.
- Stay updated on food trends and techniques to continually improve menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining setting.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various sushi preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in menu planning and catering is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
