Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their to-go orders, ensuring all requests are accurately fulfilled.
- Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu items and specials to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking orders and addressing any guest concerns or questions.
- Ensure that all to-go orders are packaged securely and presented attractively for guests.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the to-go area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing exceptional service and addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- A passion for guest relations and providing outstanding service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
