Job description
We are looking for servers who uplift the dining experience for customers! We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role! If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d love to meet you!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serving various sushi and kitchen entrée dishes while giving excellent customer service.
- Responsible for prepping and serving salads and other appetizers that will be stored in server station deli.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of server station and shared work environment
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Provide a high level of attention to guest satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Actively display knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including current promotions or specials
- Complete opening and closing duties efficiently and safely, using the correct procedures
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Hands-on with POS system
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen and sushi chefs
- Complete all assigned daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties
- Follow all relevant health department regulations

Qualifications:
- TIPS certified (Training for Intervention Procedures) - preferred
- If you are not currently TIPS certified there are many online courses that range from 3-4 hours to complete.
- At least 19 years of age (to serve alcohol in state of Idaho, servers must be at least 19)
- Must be able to work evenings, days, weekends and/or holidays
We’re willing to take the time to train if applicant has no prior serving experience but must be the right candidate!
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands
