Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist in sanitizing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience with food service operations is preferred; familiarity with culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to effectively upsell menu items while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Knowledge of cash register operations and handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a nightclub or high-energy environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
