Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Support meal preparation by following recipes and dietary guidelines as directed by kitchen staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.
• Participate in menu planning sessions to help create balanced and nutritious meal options.
• Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen setting or food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation tasks.
• Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and expand culinary skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
