Food Service Worker

We are Asian Grill & Sushi Restaurants, operating more than 15 locations near the RTP area. As we continue to expand, we are always looking for team members and leaders who are ready to grow with us.

Locations:

• Asian Grill Restaurant / Cafeteria at Duke University
• Sushi Restaurant / Cafeteria at Duke University

Positions Available:

• Quick Service Server and Cook (Part-time)
• Cashier (Part-time)
• Prep (Part-time)
• Sushi Roller / Helper (Full-time or Part-time)
• Sushi Chef (Experience required) (Full-time)

Experience is not mandatory—new learners are welcome! We also offer management and leadership opportunities.

Schedules:

• We are closed during the Christmas holiday season and have limited operations during the summer break.

Pay Rate:

• Starting at $18 per hour for full-time employees.
• Starting at $14-$15 per hour for part-time employees.
• Most employees will start part-time, except those with sushi experience.
• It may take some time to transition to full-time.

Full-Time Requirements:

• Must work at least 30-35 hours per week.
• Must pass qualifications for full-time work during training.
• Weekend availability is preferred; one weekend or rotational weekend shifts may also be acceptable.

Part-Time Requirements:

• No specific requirements; flexible schedule preferences are welcome.

Other Requirements:

• A criminal background check is required by Duke University.
