We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new sushi items based on seasonal ingredients or customer preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain the quality and safety of all dishes prepared.
• Stay updated on current food trends within the industry to enhance menu offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting is required, with specific experience in sushi preparation preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu planning.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
