Childcare Floater

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while supporting their growth and learning. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for supervising children, engaging them in educational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times.
• Provide nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Foster positive relationships with children by engaging in play and encouraging social interaction.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Observe children's behavior to assess their developmental needs and provide appropriate support.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Daycare or preschool settings.
• Nannying or babysitting roles with children of various ages.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Familiarity with infant care practices is beneficial.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children, contributing positively to their development and well-being.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
