Senior Project Manager - Wet Utilities
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Base: $160 - $200K

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide project management and field support services for municipal wet utility projects, including water, sewer, and storm drain systems. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, tracking, procurement, document control, quality assurance, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Functions
Contract Management: Read and enforce project contracts, standard or special provisions, and all project documents and client/customer requirements.
Project Approval: Approve construction master schedules, project budgets, subcontract agreements, and monthly pay applications for completed work.
Meetings: Attend progress meetings with owners/clients and internal teams to monitor project progress and address any issues or questions.
Cost and Quality Control: Manage field costs, schedules, and quality to ensure project objectives are met.
Forecasting and Documentation: Complete project forecasts, cost-to-complete estimates, anticipated profit, and close-out documentation.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ): Assist in the preparation and development of project-specific approaches for SOQs.
Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM): Assist in the preparation and development of APDMs, including Design-Build (DB), Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
Design Phase Services: Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of Design Phase Services Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals/budgets.
Pre-Construction Services: Participate in pre-construction management activities, including scoping meetings, pre-bid meetings, design review meetings, and comment resolution meetings.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Division Manager and key team members, attend construction progress review meetings, and promptly inform the Division Manager of any unforeseen construction events or problems.

Representation: Act as a company representative on all matters relating to disputes and grievances per company and project-specific policies.
Responsiveness: Be responsive to owner/client and management needs.

Safety Program: Promote a site safety program to maintain a safe site in compliance with company, client/customer, and government requirements and regulations.
Mentorship: Mentor the development of Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
10 years of experience in wet utility project management.
Proven track record of profitable project management.
Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a high sense of urgency.
Experience in scheduling, forecasting, and submittals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience with B2W, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
Strong customer focus and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with team members, contractors, officials, vendors, and other outside contacts.

Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
