The Credit Analyst is responsible for independently analyzing credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
Job Duties
- Manage commercial and agricultural loan processing in order to meet the needs of customers while, at the same time, controlling credit risk
- Independently analyzing credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
- Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision-making
- Ensure completeness of credit files
- Ensure compliance with certain regulations pertaining to commercial lending
