Responsibilities
- Manage patient accounts by verifying insurance and personal demographic information.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their account status and billing inquiries.
- Analyze account data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Negotiate payment plans as necessary to facilitate account resolution.
- Maintain accurate health records, ensuring medical information is identified and securely scanned to appropriate department within the electronic chart.
- Handling requests and verifying appropriate signed releases of electronic records to outside companies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with patients and staff members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and requests efficiently.
- Team member, willing to be flexible with job duties based on daily task changes and monthly work time line.
