Position Summary
Director of Treasury Management Operations is responsible for the overall supervision of the day-to-day activities related to Treasury Management products, services and support offered by Susser Bank.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for hiring, training and development of Treasury Management support personnel to achieve efficiency and quality in providing white glove client experience.
- Partners with Director of Treasury Management Solutions, bankers, branch staff and deposit operations to support and maintain treasury client relationships.
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), process engineering, and reengineering, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on streamlining operations, reducing costs, and enhancing client experience.
- Provides training and education to Treasury Solutions officers, analysts and others interfacing directly with the client to ensure they have working knowledge of all Treasury management products and services
- Partners closely with Technology to ensure treasury management product offerings are market competitive and consistent with the requirements of our most complex treasury clients and prospects
- Works closely with Treasury Management support staff and legal to create and update client agreements ensuring they are complete and delivered to the client in an efficient manner.
- Working knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and ability to ensure compliance from the support team, as well as overall understanding of risk management and ability to apply professional judgment in assessing and communicating risk across the Company, as needed.
- Maintains an up to date and comprehensive knowledge of Business Online Banking and Treasury Management products and services.
- Training Business clients on all Treasury Management products and Business Online services as needed.
- Effectively communicate implementation and verification processes to client and support staff, ensuring they are adapted and updated as needed to provide a best-in-class client experience.
- Participates in annual review of all treasury management services, limits and overall relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of Business Online Banking and Treasury Management products, services, and systems.
- Participates in extensive problem solving/troubleshooting with vendor, technology and clients.
- Directly involved with new Treasury Management products and services to create procedures for support staff.
- Works closely with Treasury Management Solutions Officer(s) to support and maintain business client relationships, ensuring that there are no gaps in product and service offerings.
- Provide professional and courteous service to Susser Bank customers and employees.
- Understand and agree to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.
- Perform job duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
- Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge and continue professional development through training as needed.

Education and Experience Required
- A four-year degree strongly preferred, not required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in client support, operations and product development, with strong preference that some of that be in the banking industry. Prior leadership experience is required.
- Experience in Q2 treasury online banking platform preferred.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Job/Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PC based hardware and operating systems such as Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
- Willingness to learn new products, multiple systems, and ability to adapt when systems change.
- Attention to detail with high concern for data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
