What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at Susser Bank?
Position Summary
This position provides primary support for IT projects and day-to-day activities in the administration of our growing enterprise environment and supporting other departments within the bank. The environment is a cloud only, IaaS Windows Server environment, running in Azure. Significant knowledge and capability of cloud technology is required to successfully fill this role.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Server maintenance (patching, backups, new build, updating, etc.).
- Act as Domain and Azure administrator for the cloud-based infrastructure.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for business units and business analysts, and vendors.
- Microsoft Office365 and Active Directory administration.
- Supports internal and external audits related to policy rules and change management processes for the organization.
- Creates and ensures that appropriate systems documentation exists and up to date, including operational instructions, detailed configuration and recovery documents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required
- At least 3 years of systems administration experience required.
- At least 1 year of experience managing virtual environments.
- Experience with Azure desired (IaaS, PaaS, IaC).
- Relevant certifications are a plus (cloud and/or Microsoft server).
Skills and Abilities Required
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience with Office 365, AD and AAD.
- Must be proficient with Windows Server 2019 and newer.
- Must be proficient with virtualization platforms.
- Must be proficient with PowerShell, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
