Position Summary
Provide customer service by accurately and efficiently processing a variety of customer banking transactions. The teller is responsible for directly representing Susser Bank by serving, assisting, and directly communicating with customers on a daily basis.
In Office ~ Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide customer services such as cashing checks, receiving deposits, making withdrawals, receiving loan payments, money transfers, online banking, etc.
- Balance cash drawer daily.
- Process cashier’s check and debit card requests.
- Adjust debit card limits and process debit card exceptions reports.
- Assist in counting money shipments.
- Wrap and bag coin, verify currency, mix new currency and turn-in mutilated currency.
- Process various night-drop and mail transactions as needed.
- Assist with month end teller audits as needed.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, maintaining supplies, building reports, preparing outgoing mail, etc.
- Provide professional and courteous service to Susser Bank customers and employees.
- Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.
- Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
- Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and continues professional development through training as applicable.
- Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintaining a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.

- Job Knowledge/Technical Knowledge: Computer (Microsoft Office, Jack Henry Xperience, Silverlake, Synergy, 4Sight, Deluxe, Centrix, Q2 Portal, Sales Force), Copier, Printer, Money Counter, Folding Machine, Postage Machine, Fax Machine.
- Accuracy, attention to details, organizational skills.
- Strong customer service skills and good verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills, problem solving, good time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Cooperation/Teamwork and patience in dealing with customers.
