The Box Office Coordinator and Group Sales Representative will handle day-to-day ticketing operations, support group ticket sales efforts, and ensure fans have a seamless ticket-buying experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, sales focus, and excellent customer service to contribute to ticket revenue and fan satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
Box Office Operations
Coordinate daily operations of the box office, including opening, closing, and reconciling ticket sales.
Operate and maintain ticketing software, ensuring proper setup for games and events.
Assist with training and scheduling game day box office staff.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving ticketing issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, revenue, and attendance data.
Support marketing initiatives by setting up promotional ticket offers and assisting with their execution.
Group Sales Support
Assist in implementing group sales strategies to drive revenue from group outings.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and reach out to community organizations, schools, businesses, and other groups.
Help create customized ticket packages and experiences tailored to group needs.
Process group ticket orders and coordinate seating arrangements.
Work with the operations team to ensure group experiences (e.g., pre-game parades or first pitches) are executed successfully.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a box office, ticket sales, or customer service role, preferably in sports or entertainment.
Education: Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
