Job Summary: The Concession Stand Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests at Skylands Stadium by efficiently handling sales transactions, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Sales Transactions: Operate cash registers, handle cash and credit card transactions, issue receipts, and provide correct change. Ensure all sales are accurately recorded.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve food items and beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand, including workstations, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Communicate low stock items to the Concessions Manager to ensure timely replenishment.
- Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in cash handling, customer service, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to perform basic math functions and operate a cash register.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks that involve repetitive motion.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during the baseball season.
