The Sussex County Miners, a professional baseball team in the Frontier League, are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our Maintenance Crew at Skylands Stadium. This position is essential in ensuring the stadium, field, and facilities remain in top condition for players, fans, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance duties, including repairs, painting, and facility upkeep.
- Assist with ballpark preparation before and after games, including cleaning and organizing areas.
- Ensure all public areas, restrooms, and seating sections are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as needed.
- Assist with field maintenance tasks, including field lining, tarp pulling, and groundskeeping.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
- Support the setup and breakdown of special events at the stadium.
- Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Prior maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic in a team-oriented environment.
