We are looking for a FULL- TIME LEAD Janitor position in the Hillsboro area!

Wage: $19.50-21.50 per hour - depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to pass all criminal background checks allowing entry into every building serviced.

2. Physical ability to safely bend, twist, lift, climbs stairs, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead. Must be able to push/pull up to 50 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds. (Accommodations can/will be considered)

3. Physical ability to operate various types of janitorial equipment. (Accommodations can/will be considered)

4. This janitorial position is a NIGHT shift

5. Must be comfortable or skilled with setting alarm systems or accessing high-security doors/areas.

6. Must have reliable transportation.

LEAD JANITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuring that customer problems or reported issues are corrected in a manner which results in fair, supportive outcomes that have positive forward movement towards long term solutions.

2. Quality Checks and Inventory Control

3. Models effective leadership skills to coworkers and assists them in establishing good practices with regard to daily work direction. LEAD BY EXAMPLE

4. Provides input to their Supervisor on personnel issues including but not limited to: work performance, recommendations for job reassignments and/or training as well as disciplinary actions.

5. Maintains professional boundaries with staff, leadership and customers.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must drive and have a valid driver’s license.
