MAINTENANCE TECH (Corrugated Industry)
We are seeking a highly motivated industrial maintenance professional, for our 3rd shift team! Ideal candidates will have a team and goal orientated mindset. At Sustainable Corrugated we thrive to foster a positive, healthy work environment. In addition to base pay we offer attendance bonuses, Gain Sharing bonuses and other team-goal based incentives. The day to day operations in our maintenance department is heavily focused on the maintenance and repair of our corrugated machine, as well as any other industrial maintenance equipment at the Dalton location.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures
- Working with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment
- Reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications for installations
- Using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments
- Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous industrial maintenance 2 years; OR a two (2) year industrial maintenance degree
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Provide your own metric and standard tools, e.g.: socket and wrench sets, and Allen T-handles
- Experience with 3 phase 480v, 24 vdc control, and VFD’s
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with AllenBradley PLCs
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Strong Background in Industrial Based Electrical Maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics
- Previous corrugated experience
