Now Hiring for Our Pennsylvania Location! We are actively looking for team members based in Pennsylvania to support our growing operations in the region. Travel to job sites will be provided from a central meeting point in PA.
Job Overview We are seeking a hardworking Solar Installer to join our team. This role involves roofing, electrical, and carpentry work—key components of solar construction. The ideal candidate enjoys physical, hands-on work, working outdoors, and collaborating with a team to promote renewable energy. No prior solar experience required—construction experience and proficiency with hand and power tools are preferred!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform roofing, electrical, and carpentry work as part of solar construction projects
- Work on pitched roofs using climbing gear and safety equipment
- Carry up to 50lbs and handle installation materials safely
- Use hand tools and power tools (impact drills, sawzalls, hammer drills, etc.)
- Drive trucks and trailers up to 16' to transport equipment
- Work closely with a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site
Requirements
✔ Construction experience (1 year preferred)
✔ Comfortable using hand and power tools
✔ Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
✔ Valid driver’s license (Required)
✔ Willingness to travel (50% of the time) — includes $50 per diem each day
✔ Ability to occasionally stay overnight for distant job sites
Schedule & Compensation
- 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday (4-day workweek, no weekends!)
- Salary-based pay daily overtime (1.5x for hours over 10 per day, tracked via company vehicle GPS)
- Travel to job sites provided from a PA-based meeting location
