Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction or roofing crew to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Interpret and execute project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards on-site.
Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project progress.
Monitor project progress, resolve on-site issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and daily activities, providing regular updates to supervisors.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Crew Leader in the construction or roofing industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, tools, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage crews and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, management, and clients.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and a commitment to enforcing safe work practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting on-site issues and making quick, effective decisions.
Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
Preferred Skills and Certifications :
Certifications in construction management, roofing, or safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour training).
Experience with energy-efficient systems, including solar, HVAC, and roofing ventilation.
Bilingual abilities (English / Spanish) are a plus but not required.
