Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Technical Writer to support our client's dynamic team at the intersection of new technology and user experience. This is a W-2 full-time, contract role based in Santa Clara, CA. We offer competitive pay $70/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
We are looking for a US-based individual with either a background in writing (with an interest in learning technology) or technology (with strong writing skills). Our team is at the intersection of new technology and user experience. Writers learn the technologies they describe in the user guides.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with multiple teams and organization levels, including end users, engineers, managers, and executive staff.
- Build and manage content for internal and external audiences within Hardware Infrastructure.
- Coordinate and consolidate content from multiple tools and ensure consistency across teams.
- Bridge any communication gaps between users and teams.
- Set documentation standards for the organization and improve existing content.
- Learn about HPCs and leverage that information to build cohesive content for users and engineers.
What we need to see:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage workload.
- Capability to work with multiple levels of management, internal users, and external audiences.
- Familiarity with different content architectures.
- Previous experience with Atlassian products (specifically Confluence and Jira).
- Experience with Snagit.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (preferred but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Technical Writing (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work across multiple teams.
- Ability to identify and follow up on content gaps.
- Graphic creation skills.
- Previous experience working with engineering teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Familiarity with Confluence.
- Understanding of collaboration workflows.
- Experience applying Information Architecture concepts.
- Scrum experience.
- Experience with Slurm.
- Experience with video editing.
