Job Title: Principal SAP S/4HANA Architect Downstream Oil & Gas Location: Miami, FL Duration: Long-term
Overview:
We seek a highly experienced and strategic Principal SAP S/4HANA Architect to lead and oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA solutions for our clients who are into downstream oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules relevant to the oil and gas industry and a proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Design:
Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored to downstream oil and gas business processes, including refining, marketing, distribution, and trading.
Ensure alignment of SAP S/4HANA capabilities with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
Develop and document end-to-end architecture for complex business processes spanning multiple SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil). Keep in mind processes like Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay while designing.
Qualifications and Skills: Education and Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of SAP experience, with 5 years in a principal architect or leadership role.
Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, specifically in downstream oil and gas industries.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA modules, including but not limited to MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil.
Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices for Oil & Gas (e.g., Hydrocarbon Product Management, Secondary Distribution, and Energy Pricing).
Experience with SAP Fiori, ABAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, APIs) and data migration frameworks.
