HOURS - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 11AM-8PM
General Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations in a warehouse environment with key customers for the cleaning, availability, maintenance and shipping of equipment/product. Depending upon equipment/product assignment, responsible for interacting with and communication with customers. Manages daily activities of direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Note: Some of the following may not be applicable to certain customers/warehouses.
- Establishes, organizes and maintains warehouse area for shipping, receiving and staging of equipment/product per applicable policies and procedures, both internal and client-established.
- Processes shipment entries and bookings; coordinates dock schedules with local agents and carriers.
- Ensures that orders, fulfillment, inbound receipts and outbound shipments are processed per applicable policies and procedures; completes work log documentation for billing of added work.
- Conducts daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly cycle counts; manages and completes special warehouse projects as directed.
- Completes all required paperwork associated with daily activities, including for assigned personnel.
- Cleans and maintains medical equipment (where applicable); performs decontamination of medical equipment as required (where applicable).
- Conducts basic function testing of medical equipment (i.e., system power ups, certain function test procedures involving the use of medical grade Air and Oxygen (O2) gases, etc.).
- Alerts and facilitates the coordination of units needing service for repairs, including providing updates to the Inventory Management System.
- Ensures all units have their original barcodes and that barcode label is accurate and readable.
- Maintains a full understanding of systems (e.g., creating and processing a shipment in Inventory Management System (IMS), Dock Processing Utility (DPU), Warehouse Management System (WMS), etc.).
- Oversees and ensures facility cleanliness and maintenance, utilizing 5S where applicable; escalates to management as needed.
- Supports the development and execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across teams.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages direct personnel; provides required training and oversight; ensures goals are met.
- Ensures adequate staffing coverage for transactional compliance and to ensure necessary levels of production/business operations; ensures training is completed in a timely manner and kept up to date.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED desired; technical/trade certification and/or mechanical training preferred (depending upon area of responsibility); advanced degree in a relevant field a plus.
- A minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience, preferably in a related field.
- Two (2) years of prior supervisory experience; preferably in a warehouse environment.
- One (1) year of experience operating material handling equipment, especially a forklift.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing, to all levels.
Computer Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with inventory and/or warehouse management web platforms required depending on warehouse assignment.
- Ability to quickly learn new programs/software.
Physical Demands:
- Combination of sitting and standing eight (8) hours or more per day.
- Ability to bend, reach and stoop.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to push up to 450 pounds up a ramp.
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)/safety gear must be worn as needed.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment that may include cleanroom and/or distribution center depending on location.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel as needed.
