Sutphen Corporation is currently looking for Fire Truck, Contract (1099, Solo) Delivery Drivers, if you are a Class A or Class B CDL driver, this could be for you! Previous operation of a Fire Apparatus is a plus!

Essential Job Functions

Pay rate :

22 / hr. weekday travel, $25 / hr. weekend travel.

Important Details :

50 per day for overnight stays (weekday and weekends)

Short haul & OTR options

Accommodations, meals, etc. reimbursable

No Driver Load / Unload

Paid orientation

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, receipts, drivers log, and maintain Hours of Service and DOT compliance.

Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.

Inspection of vehicles, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.

Maintaining a driver's log, Pre-trips, and Post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.

Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

Unauthorized passengers are not allowed in Sutphen Corporation's fire apparatus.

Full compliance with the FMCSA Driver Requirements Program.

Driver's record must meet approval criteria to operate under Sutphen Corporation's DOT number and participate in driver's program.
