Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including tractors and farm implements
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate with site managers and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing strong mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation,.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
- Previous experience with farm machinery is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation.
