Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Davies Position Overview: The Lead Aide assists the EVS Supervisor with direct leadership and guidance of the housekeeping staff as assigned; completes routine housekeeping duties as required; and ensures that the Medical Center is provided with a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Three (3) years experience in environmental services in a health care facility is desirable. Minimum one (1) year experience in a position of Group Leader. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Possesses working knowledge of all procedures involved with housekeeping. Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; Self-starter; demonstrates a positive work ethic, initiative, good judgment and problem solving skills, and well-developed motivational abilities.
