Performs a variety of duties in preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for the technical component of scans and treatments of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. Operates MRI equipment to produce the scans. Provides support and training assistance as well as functioning in all aspects of position. Assists the Lead and Department in maintenance of equipment and QA/QC program(s) for meeting regulatory and accreditation and re-accreditation. Serves as department liaison. This position requires CRT and ARRT (MR). Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Other: Completion of a Radiology Technology program Other: AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist IV Certification Certification in specialty area BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Additional 6 months in MRI 12 months hospital setting Job Shift: Day/Evening Schedule: Short Hour Shift Hours: 12 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend Benefits: No Unions: Yes Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 12 Employee Status: Short Hour Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
