Organization: SLH-Sutter Lakeside Hospital Position Overview: As a member of the health care team, the Respiratory Care Practitioner functions under the direction of the physician and collaborates the RN who is responsible for coordinating patient care activities. The RCP interacts with various hospital personnel, patients, and families utilizing customer service philosophies while maintaining confidentiality. Performs respiratory care procedures and cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests on a routine and emergency basis. Job Description: CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: One year prior acute care, emergency and floor care experience preferred.
