Organization: EMC - Eden Medical Center Position Overview: Coordinates professional nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines; maintains standards of professional practice. Job Description: EDUCATION Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required BSN Preferred DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE 2 years previous clinical experience in L&D and OB nursing and previous experience in nursery LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure - RN Required Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Required Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - NRP Required Advanced Fetal Monitoring - AFM Required SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Ability to make fine discrimination in sound Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances Handles emergency or crisis situations Subject to varying and unpredictable situations OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk) Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds Job Shift: Nights Schedule: Part Time Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Rotating Weekends Benefits: No Unions: Yes Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 0 Employee Status: Per Diem/Casual Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $76.20 to $103.10 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
