Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with established accounting principles. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in accounting software. Accounting Clerk will be scheduled for 5 hours a day, M-F, with the potential of full-time.
Duties
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to corporate accounting.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and assist in tax-related tasks as needed.
- Various office administration duties.
- Basic inside sales support.
Experience
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and corporate accounting practices is essential.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and related software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required to succeed in this role.
