Job Description

Job Title : Physical Therapist - Home Health

Job Specialty : Physical Therapy

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : 2 years required; 1 year in home health highly desired

License : Current CA PT license required

Certifications : BCLS / CPR certification required

Must-Have :

  • Proof of current auto insurance
  • Valid driver's license

Job Description :

  • Scheduling for weekends, on-call support, and major holidays is required.
  • Experience in a home health position is highly desired.
  • PT experience of at least 1 year is highly desired.
  • A PT graduate from an accredited curriculum is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field is highly desired.
  • Applicants must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
  • A valid state license is required at the time of submission.
  • Epic charting experience is preferred.
  • Return staff policy : staff must have been gone for 1 year to return as a traveler.
  • Completion of non-billable modules during orientation, averaging 1-5 hours, is required.

    • Please ensure all certifications are from the American Heart Association and available at the time of submission. Background checks are required; please note any hits or DUIs prior to submission.

    Modules are completed during orientation and are recorded through e-learning. Total orientation is 16 non-billable hours.
