Certification Details BLS ACLS Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Job Details Job Description : Performs extracorporeal bypass on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population. Operates heart-lung machine to regulate blood circulation and composition, to administer drugs and anesthetic agents, to control body temperature or respiratory failure during surgery. Monitors and observes operation of heart-lung machine and patients physiologic variables such as blood temperature, blood composition and flow rate and adjust equipment to maintain normal body functions. Job Requirements Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion BLS (AHA) ACLS 2 years recent experience Graduate of accredited perfusion program Schedule Information Shift : 5 x 8 Days, 0700-1500 / 1530-2330 Variable Shift; no call or floating, but weekend requirement as needed
