Job Details
This position will work days, evenings and / or nights and weekends.
The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assists in CT guided procedures.
The technologist must demonstrate and exercise critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy / physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration, specific to contrast media and adjunct medications.
The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment to produce quality CT procedures.
The CT Technologist ensures accurate documentation and image transmission and storage, professional and effective communication, and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients.
Responsible for accurate charge capture and documentation.
Population served includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
ARRT - CT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
IV Certification Upon Hire
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire
Tech Cert Verification - National (Required within 30 days of start)
State License 1 Verification (Primary source online verification required within 30 days of start)
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) - Required within 30 days of start
IV Certification (LVN / LPN / Other) - may be required for some MRI and CT Techs
