Job Description:
A Registered Nurse position is available at Sutter Health Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California. We are seeking an experienced nurse to lead our stroke clinical nursing program.
Certification Requirements:
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIH Stroke Certification
Experience and Education:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recent relevant experience with direct care for stroke patients or as a nurse navigator. Experience at the TSC or CSC level (thrombectomy stroke center or comprehensive stroke center) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs the operation of a stroke clinical nursing program
- Provides direct care for stroke patients or serves as a nurse navigator
Requirements:
- CA RN License
- 5 years of recent relevant experience with direct care for stroke patients or as a nurse navigator
Schedule Information:
This role may require possible weekends with overtime.

Additional Details:
AHA or ARC certification is accepted. Certain certifications may require completion within 30 days of start date.
