Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist:
This position involves operating complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all imaging procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to optimize image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures.
Education and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in radiologic science or related field
- CA CRT licensure
- CA Venipuncture licensure
- 4 years of experience in CT scanning
