The Radiologic Science Professional CT Scan is responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic science, excellent technical skills, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to optimize image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement new imaging protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
Education and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in radiologic science or related field
- CA CRT licensure
- CA Venipuncture licensure
- 3 years of experience in CT scanning
