Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a full?time BE / BC dual?boarded Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiologist to join a successful established practice in Sacramento, CA.
The candidate will have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency with Nuclear Medicine specialization (via dual residency, combination residency, or fellowship) to achieve board status with both ABR and ABNM or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nuclear Medicine while also comfortable with general Radiology.
The Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging section provides coverage for general Nuclear Medicine, cardiac scintigraphy, SPECT / CT, PET / CT, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. Non?radiology training programs are present at two of the acute care facilities allowing for education opportunities for residents. Candidate should have a desire to provide timely, high?quality patient care in a collegial and collaborative environment.

- The nuclear medicine section covers 4 acute care facilities and 7 outpatient imaging sites providing a mix of general nuclear medicine and cardiac studies and PET / CT as well as therapy.
- Onsite and remote reading shifts
- Opportunity for additional income with voluntary remote shifts either in radiology or PET / CT
- Evening call in shared rotation up until 10 pm, teleradiology service provides preliminary interpretations overnight
- Weekend and holiday day coverage in shared rotation
- Productivity coverage for multidisciplinary conferences and tumor board
