Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving sheet metal materials.
• Operate basic hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and shears.
• Support machine operators by feeding materials into cutting, bending, and forming machines.
• Measure and cut sheet metal according to specifications.
• Perform deburring, sanding, and smoothing of metal parts.
• Assemble and package finished products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment.
• Assist in inventory management and material stocking.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Special Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, and metalworking machinery.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in a metal shop or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures.

Full Time Non-Exempt Position - Starting wage $18.00 per hour.
