Organization: SAFH-Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Position Overview: Performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during and after surgical interventions under the direction of licensed staff. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologists program or extensive experience as a surgical technologist, such as is usually obtained in approximately 10 years. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE CST-Certified Surgical Technologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Acute care experience preferred. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication and basic computer proficiency skills. Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Pay Range is $37.45 to $45.63 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
