Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Perform direct patient care tasks under the general supervision of a dentist, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer same-day care
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
- Guide parents and patients through the treatment process
- Take x-rays and save into patient charts when necessary
- Participate in local events and promote the positive image of the organization
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, colleagues, and community partners
