To succeed in this role, you will need to have a DDS/DMD from a CDA-accredited dental education program and completion of a CDA-accredited Oral Surgery Residency or substantial oral surgery experience. You will also need a valid dentistry license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure) and necessary certifications such as ACLS/BLS and DEA.
