Job Description:
Summary:
We are seeking a Part-time Associate Dentist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care to underserved communities, primarily focusing on children and young adults.
The ideal candidate is committed to creating positive experiences and promoting access to affordable dental care. They will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure patient satisfaction, utilizing advanced dental technology and a compassionate approach.
Responsibilities:
- Providing dental services to patients with the support of their team
- Utilizing digital x-ray and Panorex units, fiber-optic handpieces, and other advanced dental technology
- Participating in yearly OSHA, HIPPA, and Emergency Management training
- Collaborating with a team of hygienists, hygiene assistants, and dental assistants to provide quality patient care
- Working with a diverse patient base, primarily ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult population depending on location
- Maintaining office flow, averaging 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients per day
Requirements:
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
