Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a DDS/DMD degree from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. You should also hold a current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where you will be providing care or be eligible for licensure. Other certifications, such as CPR and DEA, are also required. Nitrous Oxide certification is necessary for certain locations.
A strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults is essential for this position. You will be expected to maintain a compassionate and caring attitude towards all patients, regardless of age or background.
