Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Manage preventative wound programs and wound treatment initiatives.
- Ensure accurate documentation and information sharing with physicians, residents, and family members.
- Prepare weekly wound analysis reports.
- Provide education on wound management, pressure ulcer prevention, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies to patients, families, and staff.
- Serve as a resource person for the wound team, clinical staff, and physicians.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing license in New York State with 3-5 years of experience.
- Prior wound certification or minimum 1-year experience in wound care at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Basic knowledge of pressure ulcer prevention and treatment, arterial, venous, diabetic, and surgical wounds.
- Organized and detail-oriented individual with flexibility and dependability.
- Able to work independently and efficiently with adequate supervision.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (Sigma Care).
- Ability to perform general nursing duties in all departments with guidance.
